Mr Alan Bree
I qualified from Birmingham University in 1978. Immediately after qualifying I worked as an associate dentist in general practice in Dudley, West Midlands.
I moved to Kettering with my family following the purchase of our own practice in 1982. I worked as a general dental practitioner in partnership with my wife Susan until her untimely death in 2007and have continued to work alongside colleagues in the practice to the present time.
Within the dental community I have served as Chairman of Northampton Section of the BDA, Secretary and Treasurer to Northamptonshire Local Dental Committee. I was also a Vocational Trainer for the Oxford Scheme for 4 years.
Having practiced within general practice for 40 years I have seen many changes and innovations within the provision of dentistry. I have always looked to promote prevention of dental disease and maintenance of healthy teeth and gums. I have a particular affinity with the philosophy of minimal intervention and minimally invasive treatments to maintain a healthy dentition.
In my own time, I enjoy being with my family and I have an interest in gardening, walking, and when the opportunity arises visiting historical places.
